Dear Readers,
Assalamu Alaikum!
Perhaps you know, one of the most threatening problems of the present day doubtlessly concerns the environment. The world up to this day has never experienced an environmental problem at such a comprehensive level. At its center resides the human element that owns the potential to protect it. You will be happy to know, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has also been concerned with the environment and its protection through the course of his life. The existence of many hadiths that encourage the greening and afforesting of the environment clearly reflects the Prophet’s concern thereof. “If a Muslim plants a tree or grow grains and a bird, a person or an animal eats from it will be counted as a charity for him.” It is also found in another hadith that the prophet (pbuh) said, “If any of you have a date sapling on the doomsday he should plant it -if possible”. Keeping these in mind we have our cover story on the trees which is full of interesting information you will definitely enjoy. Also, it is a celebration of the recognitions by the Bangladeshi people in the world for their steps in protection environment, especially the latest one won by our honorable Prime Minister.
Dear brothers and sisters,
Most of you are enjoying the year end and winter vacation right now. There are so many things that you can do during winter vacation, but the problem is, which one will make you happy and satisfied? We believe, youth wave provides you with lots of ideas in every issue that you can follow to utilize the vacation. Additional to those, we would like to motivate you to read a lot of books of different taste and learn anything you will need in the future.  One more thing, don’t enjoy the winter alone, give a thought about the poor community living besides you. If it’s possible, donate your old clothes to those who are in need so that they can protect themselves in the winter.
We hope to see you in the first day of the next year – 2016! Till then, be very productive and keep in touch with us.
