The Essence of the Holy Qur’an
Allah is the real owner of the sovereignty and power
Say, “O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honour whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account [i.e., limit or measure].”
(Surah no. 03, Ali Imran, verse no. 26-27)
Do not leave Islam due to glory and wealth
Dear readers, this is a very beautiful and impressive prayer which implies a wise answer to the Archbishop of the Najran deputation, who told his brother Kurz that they did not wish to believe in the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh because they would be deprived of the glory and wealth given to them by the Roman Lords.
Do not seek honour from the worldly kings
In the above verses, Allah the All-Mighty provides guidance to those souls who refrain from embracing Islam due to fear of worldly wealth and dignified ranks. The wealth and prosperity they desire after and the dignity and honour they are greedily seeking from the worldly kings should not come in their minds because Allah is the real owner of the Sovereignty and power and Royal dignity.
Allah gives the worldly kingdom and honour
He gives the worldly kingdom and honour to whomsoever He wills and takes back from whomsoever He wills. The non believers were proud of their glory. They thought that it would continue among them for ever. They were unaware of Allah’s power. Allah SWT bestows honor on whomsoever He wills, deprives it from whomsoever He wills, humiliates whomsoever He wills, and raises eminent people from ordinary souls.
