The 36 Days -Shohel Shafayat
Thirty-six days of blood and storm,
A revolution in youthful form.
Classes stopped, but lessons grew—
In every chant, a future knew.
They banned our words, they shut down net,
But courage rose where fear was set.
We saw our brothers disappear,
Yet never once collapsed in fear.
From Dhaka’s dust to hilltop night,
Every step a blow for right.
And when the tyrant’s palace fell,
The air rang out like a freedom bell.
Bangladesh was born again—
Not with guns, but with pain.
From student blood and fire-torn skies,
Rose a flag that never dies.
