The Essence of the Holy Qur’an
Allah is not heedless of the
activities of evildoers
And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a day, when eyes will stare [in horror]. Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts utterly void. (Surah No. 14, Ibrahim, Verse No. 42-43)
Allah knows every action
Dear brothers and sisters, In the above two verses, Allah the Almighty provides general guidance on His course of action against those who commit injustices in society and all aspects of human life. Allah warns the evildoers and wrongdoers not to assume that Allah is heedless or unaware of their actions if there is a delay in punishing the unbelievers. Remember! Allah Almighty knows every action, no matter how small. Of course, it is not the habit of Allah to seize the criminals at once and destroy them. He provides respite to the worst transgressors, allowing them to either refrain from committing crimes or reach a point where there is no legal doubt about their deserving punishment. It is also clear that Allah will fulfil his promise to believers, destroying all those who oppose them.
The state of the wicked on the Day of Judgement
On the Day of Resurrection, in extreme embarrassment, terror, and amazement, the evildoers will come with heads raised and eyes staring. The eyes will remain fixed on the vision, gazing at a side consumed by fear; they will not flinch, and the hearts will swell with intense fear and despair, devoid of awareness, understanding, and hope for improvement. In short, for the wrongdoers, that time will be exceedingly sorrowful. On the other hand, the believers will not grieve in that supreme horror, and the angels will greet them at the same time.
