Allah is ever Merciful and Kind
Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
(Surah No. 02, Al-Baqarah, Verse No.173)
Mercy of Allah is the greatest source of hope:
Dear brothers and sisters, we know that amongst the ninety nine attributes of Allah, the attributes of Forgiveness, Mercy and Kindness are most prominent and repeated in the holy Qur’an. At the beginning of every surah except surah Tawbah the verse “Bismillahir rahmanir rahim” In the name of Allah the Most Merciful and Most Kind are written. This overwhelming and all embracing forgiveness, kindness and mercy of Allah is the greatest source of hope for salvation of the mankind-specially the Muslim sinners. None can go to Jannah merely by dint of his own merit of meritorious deeds except the Mercy of Merciful Allah.
Human beings are in need of Mercy of Allah:
Our Prohphet (pbuh) was asked as to whether he himself will need the Mercy and Kindness of Allah to be entitled to enter Jannah? He said that even he himself would enter Jannah with the Mercy and Kindness of Allah. In fact, human beings are so prone and apt to commit errors and sins that none of us can perform our functions and duties toward Allah and His creatures according to His commands and directions, satisfactorily, successfully, efficiently and completely, without the help and aid of Allah and there is likely to occur latches and faults or defaults etc, in our performance. That is why Allah says that human beings are created as weak.
When Allah becomes very much happy?
Allah is ever Merciful and Kind towards human beings and always ready to forgive them and their sins and faults on their sincere repentance and prayers. Allah is proud of His favorite creation –men and becomes very much glad and happy whenever men obey His command and prohibitions, in order to please Him out of fear of Him.
