Falsehood is ever bound to vanish
Meaning: And truth has come and falsehood has vanished.
Surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish.
(Surah No. 17, Al-Isra, Verse No. 81)
Al-Qur’an helps the believers to overcome the obstacles:
Dear brothers and sisters, we know and believed that the Qur’an guides us to the straight path that leads to Allah’s pleasure and Paradise. It gives truth-seekers the proper concept of the truth as well as the willpower and the moral courage to produce a living model of that concept in real life. Al-Qur’an helps them to overcome the obstacles they might encounter from within or without. It is in fact guidance for all the needs and benefits of the life of this world and that of the hereafter. It is first and foremost a Book of Guidance. In the above mentioned verse our dearest Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was ordered to declare that the Allah the Almighty has revealed the Holy Qur’an in the world for proclaiming good tidings to the believers and crushing the falsehood. The religion of truth was going to prevail in no time and the falsehood would run away, but from all over the world day by day.
Truth destroys falsehood in course of time:
This declaration came at a time when a large number of Muslims had forsaken their hearth and home in Makkah and taken refuge in Abyssinia. As for the rest Muslims, they were living a miserable life in and around Makkah, suffering from harsh persecutions. Even the life of the Prophet (pbuh) was constantly in danger. The Prophet (pbuh) was asked to proclaim to the unbelievers that truth had come and that falsehood appeared to many people at best a tall claim, and the unbelievers simply laughed it away. Within nine years of that declaration, however, the Prophet (pbuh) had entered Makkah as its conqueror, destroying falsehood.
