The Divine Portal -Rifat Hasnat
The Discovery
Shabab, Shafiq, and Shayan had always been inseparable, their bond forged by their shared quest for knowledge. In a university, the three friends were not only brilliant in their respective fields but also deeply spiritual, always reflecting on the greater purpose of their existence. Shabab, a physics prodigy, often found himself contemplating the intricate design of the universe. Shafiq, a mathematician, marveled at the order in the chaos of creation. And Shayan, a gifted computer scientist, was driven by the idea that every piece of the universe—be it physical or digital—had a pattern.
For years, they had explored various scientific theories together, but it was a singular line of thought that occupied their minds in recent months: What if the universe we lived in wasn’t the only world created by Allah? What if there were other dimensions, other realms, and worlds crafted by His will?
It started innocuously. One day, while Shayan was rummaging through old manuscripts at the university library, he came across an ancient text written in a script he didn’t recognize. After painstakingly decoding it, he discovered a strange set of instructions—a formula that described the creation of a machine. But this wasn’t just any machine—it was designed to open a doorway to another realm.
Shayan showed it to Shafiq and Shabab, and after much contemplation, they all agreed to test it. Their minds raced with possibilities, but a deeper sense of awe filled their hearts. The Quran speaks of Allah’s command over all creation: “Indeed, His command is when He intends a thing, to say to it, ‘Be,’ and it is” (Quran 36:82). The idea that there might be a world that Allah had created beyond their understanding was both thrilling and humbling.
“Do you think it’s possible?” Shafiq asked, his voice filled with awe.
Shabab nodded slowly. “If this is Allah’s will, it will happen.”
For months, they worked in secret, designing and building a machine that could tear open the fabric of space and time. Their research was guided by their belief that Allah, the Creator of all things, had set into motion a universe that worked according to divine laws. But what they were attempting wasn’t just science—it was an attempt to witness Allah’s creation in a way no human ever had before.
Finally, the machine was ready—a massive metallic structure pulsed with energy, its intricate circuits humming with the promise of the unknown. It stood before them like a monument to human ingenuity and faith. The time had come.
With a prayer on their lips, Shayan pressed the button to activate the machine.
The moment the machine hummed to life, a brilliant light filled the room. It was blinding—so pure, so intense. It was as though the very light of creation had descended upon them. And in the blink of an eye, everything changed.
The Divine World
When the light subsided, the three friends found themselves standing on a vast, alien landscape. They were no longer in their university lab, but in a place that felt both surreal and sacred. The sky above was a deep, shimmering gold, and the land stretched out before them, bathed in a soft, otherworldly glow. The air was heavy with a sense of tranquility and mystery.
Shayan, looking around in awe, whispered, “This… this is not just another world. It’s something beyond our understanding.”
Shafiq, his mind racing, spoke cautiously. “We’ve crossed into a realm that we were never meant to reach. But why? Was this Allah’s will?”
Shabab, always the one to find faith in every discovery, nodded. “Maybe we’re meant to learn something. We’ve just stepped into a world created by the Almighty—just as He created ours.”
They wandered through the strange land, which seemed to respond to their every movement. As they ventured deeper into the world, they noticed something extraordinary—the very landscape seemed to change before their eyes, as if the world was in a constant state of transformation, responding to their presence. It was as though the realm was alive, breathing with them.
Then, they encountered a being unlike any they had ever seen—a figure cloaked in brilliant light, standing atop a hill. The being spoke with a voice that resonated deep within their souls.
“You have entered the realm created by Allah’s will,” the figure said, its voice both comforting and awe-inspiring. “You stand in the world of Divine Creation, where time and space are shaped by the command of Allah. You are witnesses to the world that He has created, a world that exists in the fullness of His knowledge and power.”
Shayan, ever the skeptic, stepped forward. “This… this can’t be real. How are we here?”
The figure’s smile was serene. “Allah’s creation is limitless. There are worlds beyond your understanding. But you, as His servants, have been brought here to witness and learn. You are not the first to step into this realm. Many have tried before you.”
Shafiq, trembling with both fear and reverence, asked, “What is this place? And what is our purpose here?”
The being looked down at them with kind eyes. “This is a place where Allah’s divine will be made manifest. It is a world born out of your search for knowledge—a knowledge that, in time, may lead you to understand the deeper truths of existence. You have opened a door to this world, and now, you must tread carefully. For all that you have discovered here comes with great responsibility.”
Suddenly, the world around them began to shift. The sky darkened, and the ground trembled.
“The balance between your world and this world is fragile,” the being continued. “The knowledge you have sought is not without consequence. You must choose: Will you return to your world, armed with the knowledge you have gained? Or will you stay here, embracing the truth of Allah’s creation?”
The Choice
The three friends stood frozen, their hearts heavy with the weight of the decision before them. They had opened a portal into a world beyond human comprehension, one that was governed by the laws of Allah’s divine will. But now they had to choose: return to their world with the knowledge they had gained, or stay in this sacred place.
Shayan, who had always been driven by the desire for discovery, spoke first. “We’ve come this far. We can’t just turn back now. But how do we know what Allah’s will truly be for us?”
Shafiq looked at Shayan with concern. “We’ve already witnessed something beyond our understanding. Maybe it’s time we accepted that our purpose is not just to uncover secrets, but to honor Allah’s creation.”
Shabab, with a sense of peace that came from deep within his heart, spoke softly. “Perhaps the answer is in the knowledge itself. The more we learn, the more we must reflect on Allah’s greatness. We’ve been chosen to witness His creation—not to control it.”
At that moment, the figure stepped forward once more. “The world you’ve entered is but a glimpse of Allah’s vast creation. To seek knowledge is noble, but to recognize that all knowledge belongs to Allah is wisdom.”
With a final, serene smile, the being extended its hand. “Return to your world, but do so with humility. Carry the knowledge of this world with you, and remember: You are part of the greater design. Trust in Allah’s plan for you, for He is the Creator of all things.”
The three friends, filled with a profound sense of awe and understanding, nodded in unison. The portal reappeared before them, and they knew it was time to return.
As they stepped back into their world, they felt different—changed. The world around them looked the same, but they then saw it with new eyes, aware of the divine purpose that governed it all. They had glimpsed the Infinite, and in that moment, they knew that the pursuit of knowledge was not just about discovery—it was about recognizing the majesty of Allah’s creation in all its forms.
The Return
Back in their lab, Shayan, Shafiq, and Shabab sat in silence, reflecting on what they had experienced. The portal had closed, but the lessons they had learned would stay with them forever.
“We were meant to see that world,” Shafiq said quietly. “To understand that the ultimate knowledge belongs to Allah.”
Shayan, who had once sought knowledge for its own sake, now saw it as a tool for understanding the Creator’s will. “We are but His servants, entrusted with the knowledge He allows us to possess.”
And Shabab, always the optimist, smiled. “We’ve been blessed to witness the beauty of His creation. And now, it’s our duty to honor it.”
The three friends knew that their journey wasn’t over. It had just begun.
For in seeking knowledge, they had come to understand that true wisdom lay not in the answers they sought, but in recognizing the vastness of Allah’s creation, and the infinite ways He revealed Himself through it.
