The Essence of the Holy Qur’an
May Allah keep us on the right path
O, Our Lord! Guide us on the straight path.
(Surah No. 01, al-Fateha, Verse No. 05)
Before asking any help follow the instructions
We acknowledge that there is only one God, the Creator and Owner of all things, the Most Merciful and Most Kind, and the Lord of the Day of Judgement. For these reasons, we praise Him alone and now beseech Him for direction and assistance in pointing us in the correct direction. Here, it’s critical to realise that it is essential to adhere to the existing instructions and lessons before seeking assistance or direction. It’s a situational relationship. Allah will not accept our prayers if we do not do as He says.
Results of prayers depend on follow up of guidelines
First, we must put what we have learned into practice. If we run into trouble, we must then seek advice and assistance. In reality, we Muslims don’t adhere to the Qur’anic teachings; instead, we merely pay homage to Allah and beg for His assistance and direction without really intending to follow the rules that He has set forth for us. After that, we reflect on our success as a nation and the outcome of our prayers.
When Allah gives answer of our prayers
The Qur’an makes it very plain that if we obey the teachings and instructions first, then seek guidance, then Allah will undoubtedly grant our requests. May Allah assist us in staying on the correct path is the first prayer taught in the Qur’an. The correct way is prescribed by the Qur’an that we are now studying. By putting the Qur’anic teachings into practice, we can effortlessly arrive at our destiny. Both this life and the next, we will be accorded dignity.
