Editorial
Dear readers
Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah. Hope you are keeping well and thanks for subscribing to your favourite magazine the Youth Wave. In the time of Syrian War, Palestine-Israeli conflict, draconian treatment of Muslims in India by Modi government and Ukraine-Russia War, you must have been scared to think about the future of the world or at least the fate of yours and your motherland. Fuel price hike is one of the troubles that has been pricking commoners in Bangladesh which may be affected by any Indian adverse policy, be it NRC or bulldozing of the houses of protesters replicating those of Israeli policy of pulling down the houses of demonstrators. By default, India is the so-called biggest democracy in the world and Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. With the planet plagued by the Western policy and implementation, the current world-order is put under lens and people are looking back how the world was before the Bretton Woods System which comprises the IMF, World Bank, United Nations with five nations having veto power etc. Was the world better before Westerns took the world power from Ottomans, Mughals or other Muslim rulers? It is a matter of great research whether several hundred years before 20th century were good or not when it comes to the question of world governance. If it is good, then the magnificent centuries were ruled by the Muslim rulers across Asia, Europe including Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy and Africa. The more the future becomes bleak, the more the research for good world governance will be stronger. That’s why we have chosen the future of the world as the cover story.
Hope you will like the story and we will reach you next month with another issue.
