Magnificent Architectures
‘Magnificent Architectures’ presents works by Italian artist Luigi Ballarin for the first time in Sarajevo and was on view from April 28 to May 12, 2022 in Hanikah, Sarajevo.
The exhibition, curated by Beste Gürsu, shows how Luigi Ballarin meticulously builds thin bridges between the roots of western and eastern art. Ballarin merges the traditions and cultures common to civilizations and transfers them to his canvases. He strengthens his art and the connections he establishes with skill throughout his artistic life by using the pluralist and multicultural structure between the East and the West.
‘Magnificent Architectures’ was first exhibited in Qatar in 2020, and now it will be shown to art enthusiasts for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This show sets an example for intercultural dialogue bridges established between three different cultures. The Italian artists and the Turkish curator meet in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Luigi Ballarin’s ‘Magnificent Architectures’ exhibition is hosted by Gazi Husrev Beg Madrasa, and supported by the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Sarajevo, IKASD Istanbul Intercultural Art Dialogues Association, and Tabularasa Transnational Art. The opening will be held on April 28, 2022. It continued until May 12, 2022.
