In the light of the Holy Hadith

Avoiding purposeless affairs beautifies servitude to Allah (SWT)
Prophet Muhammad (saw) says, “Indeed among the excellence of a person’s Islam is that he leaves what does not concern him.”
(Tirmidhi, Zuhd, 11; Muwatta, Husn al-Khulq, 1)

Dear brothers and sisters!
Our sublime religion, Islam, orders us to be engaged in useful, auspicious and meaningful affairs in all stages of our lives. It recommends speaking in the best manner and follow the finest of all words. It advises us that we stay away from pointless affairs that cause loss of time and labour and serve no purpose in our life in this world and the Hereafter.
Our values and blessings our Lord (swt) have bestowed upon us are too precious to waste unnecessarily and purposelessly. All Muslims who have this awareness stay clear of useless affairs that benefit themselves or the people around them. They do not give credit to unfounded words and unnecessary thoughts. They use their mind and heart in a good way and in works that are appropriate in terms of the appreciation of Allah (SWT). According to the Holy Qur’an, one of the most common qualities of Muslims who attain salvation is to avoid affairs that are not their business and are purposeless. Being productive is one of the most important habits that any Muslim can cultivate. Because as a productive Muslim, you are better able to fulfil your religious obligations. You can manage your time effectively such that you observe your daily prayers at the right times.
Then, let us strive to be perfect Muslims with our words, thoughts, conscience and morals. Let us not forget that our quality as a Muslim will become finer, and our servitude to Allah (SWT) will become more valuable in the presence of Allah to the extent that we stay away from purposeless activities. Happy are those who are not able to notice the flaws of others because of being busy minding their own flaws!
