Editorial
Dear readers
Peace be upon all of you who read, subscribe and write to Youth Wave. Thank Allah (that) we all are not suffering war but we are certainly struggling with coronavirus, corruption galore, dwindling of democracy, dengue menace etc. Squeezing of press freedom, police excesses, squandering of majority and mollycoddling of minority in Muslim world while persecuting minorities in non-Muslim world are becoming day to day features. The whole world is wobbling with protests. Protesters are rocking the planet chanting slogans in different corners of the world, be it Europe, Industrialized North, Africa countries or Asian places like Palestine, Rakhine, Xinjiang, Kashmir, Yemen etc. Demonstrators are out their denouncing abuse of rights by rogue regimes and sporting their demands.
They are either calling for returning their voting rights, demographic representation in government jobs as in India, protesting at plan to lock up Assamese minority Muslims in ghetto and de-enfranchising them like those of Rohingyas of Myanmar or calling for putting an end to Syrian killer Bashar al-Assad, who is son of another killer Hafez al-Assad or the war in Yemen waged by some Middle Eastern ‘trucial states’ which are not demographically viable. As the French President Emmanuel Macron, whose colonial ancestors killed a couple of million in Algeria, dishonoured Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who is next to Issa ibne Maryam (PBUH) in the line of Abrahamic religion, so protesters rocked the world and we have made it into the cover story of this issue. Hope you will like the story.
Hope to return to you next month with another issue as cover story.
