that you would be gone,
thousand miles away from me
I would have tried
to knit us closer,
as close as could be.

If I had known
that you would pretend,
You’d just show you love me
I would have tried
to pull you away
as soon as could be.

If I had known
that you would show me
the darkest path your eyes could see,
I would have tried
to turn away from you
even if you came back to me.

For the friends who’ve misunderstood, or used me for their own benefits only. I’d rather have just one true friend instead of a thousand masked foes.
