The Effect of Dishonesty
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e, Allah] may let them taste part of what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteous].
(Surah No. 30, Ar-Rum,Verse No. 41)
Peace is no where!
Dear brothers and sisters, the meaning of the above verse is that when people are not remaining adamant upon their own religion of nature as a result unbelief and wrong spread out all over the world. And due to its misfortune, corruption, oppression and injustice spread in the countries and islands as well in our everyday lives. Neither peace remains in the land, or in the sea. Corruption, dishonesty surrounded the every area of our lives. It is all because our Creator Allah the al-Mighty desired that mankind should take some taste of their misdeeds in this world too; full punishment shall be given in the life after death, but some sample should be shown here. It is possible that some men came to the right way fearing the terrible results.
The outcome of evil must be evil:
There is no doubt that Allah’s creation was pure and good in itself. All the mischief or corruption was introduced by Evil. As soon as the mischief has come in, Allah’s mercy and goodness step in to stop it. The outcome and consequences of evil must be evil, and this should be shown in such partial punishment as ‘the hands of men have earned,’ so that it may a warning for the future and an invitation to enter the door of repentance. Therefore, we the Muslim Ummah should take lessons from the mistakes for the coming days and work hard for the golden days of Islam.
